A Poem for Friendship

The following is a poem that was recently written by me...

We came from places unknown,
     'N met never knowing each other;
Slowly saw, talked & laughed at each other,
     'N we stand here a long way behind us;
The path we crossed together,
     Dwells in all genres of emotion;
In times of misery,
     U, were a CONSOLE to dissolve;
In times of joy,
     U, were a MIRROR to reflect;
In times of frustration,
     U, were a COMPANION to ease;
In times of depression,
     U, were a SOUL to counsel;
In times of victory,
     U, were there to TAP;
Our FIGHTS strengthened the STEM,
     Our COMPROMISES multiplied the PETALS;
After, all, you are a GOOD FRIEND,
     'N our relationship a ROSE with couple of THORNS;
